I am a male, and I bought these shoes for myself. Yes, for myself! I am going as Alice (as in "Alice in Wonderland"!) for Halloween, and these shoes fit the bill! I've gotta have Mary Janes for that! I'm sure ladies wanting to order these will really like them if even I find them surprisingly comfortable! haha! I will say, if there are any other guys amazingly buying these that is, that I am a male size 10.5, and I ordered the 13, since I heard i should order two sizes up which would make it 12.5.....only the shoes are only available as whole sizes! So my only suggestion for you is to def still get 13, but see if you can get some small insert (or jogging type white socks if you are wearing white stockings...that way they cover up/blend with the socks anyway, and the shoes wont cut into you ever so slightly. If I have enough guts to actually wear them, it is going to be quite the funny night on the 31st! I highly recommend them! :D
